Iniö church Sophia Wilhelmina
Iniö Church, built 1797-1800, was inaugurated in 1801 and named after the newborn Princess, Sophia Wilhelmina.
On Good Friday, 1880, the Chirch was badly damaged in a fire, and the renovation took a whole year.
Interesting artefacts are a votive ship, the barque Maria, an unusual brass chandelier, pieced together from two separate 17th century chandeliers.
The two bells of the church are still rung by hand.
